Two Possibilities
“Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.” ―Arthur C. Clarke
What Counts…
To Be Beautiful…
“To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself.”

New Moon in Aries
Tonight is a New Moon in Aries, heralding in a powerful new start. This is also the start of a new year in Astrology. The zodiac always begins with Aries.
This New Moon is truly a new birth of life, inspiration, and ideas. It is energetically connected to the womb of evolution, like a butterfly coming out of its chrysalis. The earth is changing now all around us as it wakes for Spring. We are also waking up to what we need to do to grow and move on in our lives.
The energy of transformation is being seeded within each of us. Aries is the warrior so find your inner spiritual warrior who will guard your back and help keep you focused on your destiny. Don’t be afraid to step in and defend people, places, or anyone who can’t help themselves. Find the kind of warrior energy you carry and bring it to the surface.
The New Moon in Aries makes a bold statement and thus leaves no stone unturned as it may symbolically or directly point the way to the path that is untraveled. Within the unknown or unfamiliar, the Divine has the opportunity to bring in wonderful surprises. This is a time to make wishes and go for what you want.
Aries is a fire sign and is full of ambition and determination, use this energy to go for what you want. What you may see during the next few days of this New Moon:
During the next few days you may experience a feeling of anger or a new-found confidence, there will be more intense weather patterns, such as storms or thunder. You may be feeling that you need to get moving in your life. There may be some anxiety and impatience over where you are and where you want to be. There will be more spirit/ghost sightings. People will be acting more assertive and argumentative (traffic, at work, relationships, etc). Pets may start acting strangely. This is the Aries energy.
This New Moon is all about change, it is a breath of much needed fresh air. Get rid of old baggage that holds you back. Let the fire of Aries cleanse and heal you. This is a lucky time, so do things that you felt you couldn’t do in the past, be a bit bolder, a bit louder, ask for what you want from the universe, and let your thoughts and desires manifest into something real.
Have a Blessed New Moon and may the Goddess watch over you.

Ostara Snow Blessings
Ostara Blessings to all. Today is the Spring Equinox.
The Wheel turns to that special point of balance. On this day, light and dark are equal, but the light is surpassing the dark, warmth is taking over cold, life is taking over death, today we truly say goodbye to winter. The young horned God is growing stronger and the Goddess is in her maiden form.
Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we look forward to the longer and warmer days. We notice the buds forming on the branches, the birds returning and animals coming out of hiding, flowers will start to shoot and the grass will become lush and green.
The young Sun God takes notice of the Maiden Goddess and the stirrings within them seem to be felt in all living creatures. All the world seems renewed– refreshed– and bursting with possibilities.
Ostara is an Anglo Saxon and Celtic fertility festival that would worship the Goddess Ostara or Eostre, as she is also known. Eggs and rabbits are her fertility symbols, the egg resembles new life and birth and the rabbit signifies fertility. Ostara is all about rebirth. Other Goddesses worshiped on this day are Ishtar and Persephone who were both resurrected from death on this day.
The Horned Sun God also known as the Oak King or the Lord of Light is also worshiped. The Gods Pan and Cernunnos, and Sun Gods such as Sol, Apollo Ra, and Horus are included. In ancient Rome, the followers of Cybele believed that their goddess had a consort who was born via a virgin birth. His name was Attis, and he died and was resurrected each year during the time of the Spring Equinox.
Eostre was the Saxon version of the Germanic Goddess Ostara. Her feast day was held on the first full moon following the Spring equinox, almost the identical calculation as the Christian Easter.
Ostara is a time of newness and rebirth, it is a time to clear out all our old junk and clean it all out. This is precisely where we get the term “spring cleaning” from. But it isn’t just clearing out our homes, it is also clearing out the junk and negative energy that we carry around with us. Let the new energies of the Sun and Spring rejuvenate us. Welcome in the new. Breathe new life into yourself and look to the future with hope and optimism.
On Ostara it is customary to plant new seeds, especially herbs, to use in spell work and watch them grow over the coming months, adding your wishes and desires to the plants. Also plant seeds of thought and new ideas and cultivate them, let them grow and become.
