Painful Debate Over Fibromyalgia
I don’t even want to know what this means for people who already suffer, as well as those who remain without an official diagnosis. It takes a pretty ignorant doctor to tell a person to get more sleep and change their diet. It’s even more ignorant to say people who suffer from Fibromyalgia are simply more sensitive to pain than other people. No. There’s nothing “normal” about widespread pain throughout the body, not being able to move, or having little to no energy. That’s an illness, not a symptom.
No More Walls
“I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn’t impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.” ―Anaïs Nin
