Standing Up For Homeowners
This is an important story. So many people have fallen on hard times and these mortgage companies have a new story every minute of the day. They send you threatening letters, but they dodge your calls. It’s beyond disgusting. I fully support this woman’s right to stand up and speak the truth. In fact, if I could give her a hug and let her know how proud I am of her, I would. Please share this story with others and re-blog it wherever you can.
I may not be able to post anything major for the next few days, which upsets me as I have been preparing something pretty special.
I idiotically had an accident with a serrated knife yesterday afternoon. I was closing it after cleaning it and the serrated part went right into my thumb at an odd angle. I’ll spare you all of the truly scary parts, but it was definitely one of the more gruesome moments of stupidity in the life of a person who was once so graceful and is now a certified klutz. I’m now re-thinking the fancy kitchen knives I have on my Wish List. (FYI, this was not a kitchen related incident.)
I’m slightly paranoid it’ll re-open, so I’m trying not to overdo it, but I’m hoping this won’t be an issue for more than a few days. Hope you’re all well and thanks to those who’ve sent me messages and left comments.
UPDATE 3/1/2013: Thankfully I did not require stitches or the coagulant in the first aid kit, but it was far deeper than I originally thought and even though it did re-open a few times, much to my own nausea, I am happy to say that it is almost completely healed. Thank God for huge Band-Aids and Neosporin. When I win the lottery, I am investing in Neosporin since it has saved my life in so many ways over the years. With a lot of luck, this won’t even scar.
I Love You To The Stars And Back
“In one of the stars, I shall be living.
In one of them, I shall be laughing.
And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look at the sky at night.”
