The Day of Rest…And Football!

I woke up this morning in so much pain, more than I’d gone to sleep with. Every muscle in my body is protesting movement and my back feels like someone put a steel rod in it and forgot to mention it to me. I thought I was walking like a 98 year old last night, today is a whole other level of “When did you start walking like that?!” I had something important I needed to do today, but I am going to do it tomorrow because when the body protests and your intuition tells you to stay put and rest, there is always a reason, even if you don’t see the end game. I am sure my intuition has saved me on countless occasions that I am all too ignorant of, but every once in a while you realize that by staying put, by listening to your body, that you dodged a major bullet in life. Don’t ever ignore your inner voice, because it never lies to you. Everything happens for a reason, whether we can see the reason or not. It’s a little bit of blind faith, but it’s an important brand in my book.

Hopefully I will be feeling better by kick-off. Lets Go Pats!!
